THEATRE WORKSHOPS
05.09.2024 - ARGEkultur
To support artists of the street and club style scene and encourage professionalization in the field, Flavourama offers public workshops around the topic “Theatre” for the first time.
Diving deeper into the spheres of performance creation and what it takes to create a theatre performance, Gunther Seiser will give a workshop on “Basics in Lighting”. Here, participants gain valuable insights into the technical aspects of theatre equipment, learn about the nuances of spotlights and their placement, explore the significance of colours and use of cue-lists. Our aim is to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of lighting possibilities in theatre spaces and familiarize them with essential technical vocabulary.
Lead by Imani Rameses, our second workshop is all about an “Introduction into Dramaturgy”.
You have an idea for a dance piece but you don’t know how to bring it to the stage? Then this workshop is for you! We will be taking a deep dive into the basic building blocks of any creative process using Mary Overlie’s Six Viewpoints aka the SSTEMS: Space, Shape, Time, Emotions, Movement, and Story. The Six Viewpoints is a method that teaches you how to look at one idea from many perspectives. The aim of this workshop is for you to walk away with practical tools for developing your next creative endeavors.
Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your skills and equip yourself with knowledge for your next theatre production!
